The amendment and motion carried, Trustee Bruns, <br />Chief of Police and City Attorney were appointed as the <br />committee. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />On motion of T~ustee Smith, seconded by Layton and carried, <br />the City Engineer was instructed to proceed with W.P.A. Pro- <br />Ject No. 2561 covering storm d~ain on W. Seventeenth Street. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Penn and carried, <br />the Chair was authorized to appoint a representative to <br />acquire the right-cf-way for the storm drain on W. Seventeent~ <br /> <br /> Trustee Smith and the City Engineer were appointed <br /> committee. <br /> <br />The motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Layton, to receive <br />and file the report of the City Auditor on the 1/4 cent gas <br />tax fund for improvement of Streets of Major Importance and <br />of State Highways in the City of Santa Ana, was amended by <br />the motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Penn, to receive and <br />refer the report of the City Auditor on the 1/4 cent gas tax <br />fund to the Finance Committee, and carried by the following <br /> <br />vote: Ayes, Trustees Joseph P. Smith, Plummet W. Bruns, W.H. <br /> Penn, Ernest H. Layton, Fred C. Rowland. <br /> <br /> Trustees None.
