M. seconded by Penn and carried, Cory, Assistant County Agent of U.S.D.Ao expressing appreciation for the use of the Council Chambers on February 22nd for the lima bean and sugar beet growers' institute held on said date, was received and Clerk instructed to acknowledge same. . A petition of residents and neighbcurs on behalf of Mr. snd Mrs. T. Mi Gilmore, 311 McFadden Street, was read requesting that they be allowed to keep a sufficient number of chickens for their living. On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Penn and carried, the report of the Sanitary Inspector on condition existing at 311 McFadden Street, was approved and the Fire Chief and Sanitary Inspector were instructed to enforce the existing Ordinances. # On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, the Mayor and Clerk were instructed to sign an agreement wit! G. A. Bradley covering the construction of an electric sign at 320 S. Main Street, a portion of which sign extends over and upon the five foot set-back line established on S. Main S' # On motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by Bruns and carried, the monthly reports of city officers for the month of Febru- ary, were referred to the Finance Committee. # On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, the Clerk was instructed to draw warrants according to the demands audited by the Finance Committee, numberio~ from l?@l ~o 1999, inclusive. . On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Layton and carried, the annual report for 1935 of the Orange County Health Depart ment, was referred to the Finance Committee for checking. # On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Smith and carried, the report of E. E. Frisby of the Orange County Health Depart. ment on rodent control work for the month of February, was referred to the Finance Committee along with the annual report cf the Health Department. # On motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by Bruns and carried, a Resolution was introduced accepting the following deeds to the City of Santa Aha of right- of-way for an alley through Block 1, Tract No. GRANTOR Leon Goossens & Ida M.
