On motion of T~ustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, the application of Nellie I. Foote to erect an apartment house at 321 W. Tenth Street, was referred to the Plahning C°mmission. On recommendation of the Planning Commission and on motion Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, the property at 321 W. Tenth Street was ordered posted for special uses and the Joint hearing date set ~rch 23rd, 1936, in accord- ance with the application of Nellie I. Foote to erect an apartment house. # On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Penn and carried, the application of the American Brotherhood for the Blind to solicit funds through a Flower Sale in Santa Ana, was refer- red to the standing committee for investigation and report back. On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried, the claim of H. Goeman against the City of Santa Ana for alleged damages in amount of $270.80 to his fi~e acre alfalfa crop caused by flood waters draining from Main, Flower and Bristol Streets, was referred to the City Attorney. # On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried, the Mayor and Clerk were authorized to sign an agreement with George Dunton covering the construction of an electric sign at 805 N. Main Street, which will extend over and upon the ten foot set back line established on N. Main Street. 6n motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Layton and carried, the Health Report for the months of October, November and December, 1935, was received and filed. . On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Layton and carried, the report of the Police Department for the month of February was received and filed. On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Layton and carried, the report of the Police Department for the month of February was referred to the Finance Committee. . On motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by B~uns and carried, the Resolution adopted by the Board of Supervisors of Orange County, appropriating $12,000.00 from the Motor Vehicle Fuel Fund for the improvement and construction on Acquisition and Improvement Distr2~$ Nos. l, 3, 4 and 7, in the City of Santa Aha, was received and the Clerk instructed to
