Foote to erect an <br /> apartment house. <br /> <br /> # <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Penn and carried, <br /> the application of the American Brotherhood for the Blind to <br /> solicit funds through a Flower Sale in Santa Ana, was refer- <br /> red to the standing committee for investigation and report <br /> back. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried, the <br /> claim of H. Goeman against the City of Santa Ana for alleged <br /> damages in amount of $270.80 to his fi~e acre alfalfa crop <br /> caused by flood waters draining from Main, Flower and Bristol <br /> Streets, was referred to the City Attorney. <br /> <br /> # <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried, the <br /> Mayor and Clerk were authorized to sign an agreement with <br /> George Dunton covering the construction of an electric sign <br /> at 805 N. Main Street, which will extend over and upon the <br /> ten foot set back line established on N.
