R. Wilson, General Contractor, to close <br />the alley in the rear of the Temple Theatre for the duration <br />of the remodeling of said building, was referred to the Chief <br />of Police, Fire Chief and City Engineer with power to act. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by Stuns and carried, <br />the City Attorney was authorized to employ Jack J. Rimel to <br />codify the Ordinances of the City of Santa Ana. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Penn and carried, <br /> <br />the City Council adjourned to Monday, March 23rd, 1936, at <br />9:30 P.M. in the Council Chamber. <br /> <br />C~ity Clerk. <br /> <br />Santa Ana City Hall. <br /> <br />March 23rd, 1936. 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />City Council met in regular adjourned session. <br />Meeting called to order by Mayor Rowland. <br /> <br />Present: Trustees Plummer W. Rowland. <br /> <br /> Absent: Trustees None. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Luncheon of <br /> <br />Veterans of Foreign Wars. <br /> <br /> In Re <br /> <br />Kite Festival <br />F?emont School. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the invitation of the Veterans of Foreign Wars to attend the <br />luncheon to be served at the K.P. Hall at 12:30 P.M., March <br />24th, honorio~ James E. Van Zand~and R.F. Nichols, was <br />received and filed. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Layton and carried, <br />the invitation of the pupils of the Sixth Grade, Fremont <br />School, to attend their Kite Festival to be held on the play- <br />ground at 1:30 P.M., Friday, March 2?th, was received and <br />filed. <br /> <br /> <br />
