Sands to place two wood signs <br />advertising the location of the United Brethern ChurCh, to be <br />located at the northwest corner of First and Shelton Streets <br />and the southwest corner of Fourth and Shelton Streets, was <br />granted. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Penn and carried, the <br />application of the MacFarlane Electric for a permit to hang <br />and electric sign for the E1 Prado at 31§ N. Sycamore Street <br />was granted under the supervision of the Electric Inspector. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried, th, <br />application of C. M. Trusty & Sons for permission to hang a <br />flat electric sign for the Gohres Electric Service at ll6 E. <br />Fifth Street and permit to be issued when approved~y the <br />Electrical Inspector. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Penn and carried, the <br />monthly reports of the city officers for the month of January <br />were referred to the Finance Committee. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the Clerk was instructed to draw warrants according to the <br />monthly demands audited by the Finance Committee, numbering <br />from fifteen hundred sixty-eight to seventeen hundred sixty- <br />tWO. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Stuns, seconded by Layton and carried, <br />the communications from the Department of Public Work~ rela- <br />tive to additional revenue to be received and Allocated from <br /> <br />the one-quarter cent for State Highways <br />AsA and Major Streets in the City, were <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />in the City of Santa <br />r~ceived and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />receipt of two Memorandums of Agreemen~ for expenditure of <br />of one-quarter cent gas tax on State Highways for the 1935-37 <br />bi-ennium and on Streets of ~a~or ImpOrtance for the 1935-36 <br />fiscal year as submitted by ~he Division of Highways, were <br /> <br /> <br />
