Hildreth. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Electric Sign. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the application of Ernest Friend, Pastor of The Full Gospel <br />Assembly, for permission to erect three signs 1S"x l@" in <br />the parkway at W. First and Forest, W. Fourth and Forest and <br />at W. Fifth and Forest Streets, was granted under the direc- <br />tion of the Street Foreman. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the application of Hunter Leach, Chairman of the American <br />Legion Armistice Day Celebration,requesting a free permit to <br />be issued from Nov. 10th to l~th, inclusive, to Craft Shows <br />to be held at 4th and Garfield, was granted. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Layton and carried, <br />the application of the Elks Lodge for the use of the Munici- <br />pal Bowl, September 23rd and 24th, to stage the Passion Play, <br />proceeds of which to be used for the Elks Christmas Charity <br />Fund, was granted. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the request of E. M. Sundquist, President of the Community <br />Chest Organization, for permission to attach a number of plac <br />ards to ornamental light posts in the downtown section adver- <br />tising the Community Chest, was granted. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Layton and carried, <br />the communication of Sophia A. Witt protesting against weed <br />assessment on Lot 13, Block 3, Artesia Street Tract, was <br />received and Filed and the Clerk instructed to write a letter <br />advising Miss Witt that the work has been performed and the <br /> <br />assessment placed on the <br />cancel the assessment at <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />tax roll and the City is unable to <br />this late date. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the application of the Powell Neon Sign Company to hang an <br />electric sign for D. P. Hildreth at 902 W. First Street, was <br />granted under supervision of the Electrical Inspector and the <br />Mayor and Clerk ware authorized to sign an agreement with <br /> <br />D. P. Hildreth to permit the hanging of said sign at 902 W. <br />First Street, which extends over and upon the five foot set- <br />back line on W. First Street. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the application of the Santa Ana Neon CompanY to hang an <br />electric sign for Hammond Bros. Corporation at 1246 S. Main <br />Street, was granted subject to the approval of the Electrical <br />Inspector and to be hung under his supervision. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br /> <br />
