In Re Sunday Opening BowersMemorial Museum. On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Smith and carried, the Clerk was instructed to advise the Bowers' Museum Board that the Council recommend that plans be made to keep the Bowers' Memorial Nuseum open on Sundays for the benefit of the working people and tourists. # On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Penn and carried, the City Council adjourned. APPROVED: Mayor of the City of Santa Ana. Cit Council Chambers. Santa Ana City Hall. October 5th, 1936. 7:30 P.~,i. City Council met in regular session. Meeting called to order by Mayor Rowland. Present: Trustees Plummet W. Bruns, Joseph P. Smith, W. H. Penn, Ernest H. Lay ton, Fred C. Rowland. Absent: Trustees None. Each Trustee having received a copy of the Minutes, further reading of the Minutes of September 21st, 1~36, was dispensed with and approved on motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Smith and carried. In Re Application L. J. Detrixhe. In Re Re que s t E. L. Sargent. In Re Application J. A. Crawford. On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Layton and carried, the application of L. J. Detrixhe for a franchise covering an All-Star Soft Ball Girl's Team, was referred to the City Auditor for investigation. On motion or Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried, the application of E. L. Sargent for permission to enlarge an existing twenty-five foot driveway to thirty feet on the west side of Garnsey Street fifty feet north of Fourth Street was referred to the Street Commissioner and Engineer with power to act. . On motion of Trustee the application of J. bungalow court at 1318 E. Planning Commission. Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, A. Crawford for a permit to erect a Sixth Street, was referred to the
