<br /> the Clerk was instructed to draw warrants according to the

<br /> the following Ordinance entitled:

<br /> "An Ordinance creating a Board of Forestry and the office
<br /> of City Forester of the City of Santa Aha; regulating the
<br /> planting, removal, maintenance and care of trees, plants
<br /> and shrubs on public streets and parks.",
<br />
<br /> was read, considered, designated Ordinance No. 1034 and
<br /> passed by the following vote:

<br /> W. H. Penn, Ernest H. Layton, Fred C. Rowland.

<br />On recommendation of the Chief of Police and on motion cf
<br />Trustee Bruns, seconded by ~mith and carried, the police
<br />badges of F. W. Lockhart and B. E. Dawson as special police
<br />officers, were suspended.

<br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Layton and carried,

<br />the appointment of Harold 0. Rasmussen as Building Inspector
<br />to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of S. I.
<br />Preble, was ratified.

<br />On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried,
<br />the following Resolution entitled:

<br /> "A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Santa
<br /> Aha, California, requesting an appropriation of the
<br /> County of Orange from Gas Tax Receipts for Highway
<br /> Improvement with said City."

<br />erection, construction, repair, enlargement, alteration,
<br />removal, demolition and occupancy of all buildings and
<br />structures in said City, and providing for the issuance
<br />of permits and collection of fees therefor, and repealing
<br />Ordinance No. 1010 of said City."
