Tenth Street <br />to construct driveway at their service station, Tent~ and <br />Broadway, was referred to the Street Commissioner and City <br />Engineer for investigation. <br /> <br /> # <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Layton~and carried, <br />the application of Leroy Burns to have the property at the <br />southwest corner of First and Ross Streets rezoned for busi- <br />ness to conduct a wholesale electrical store, was referred <br />to the Planning Commission for recommendation. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Penn and carried, <br />the application of the Davis Standard Bread Company for a <br />refund of $27.00 on license to peddle bakery products, which <br />has been d~scontinued~ was denied. <br /> <br /> # <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the petition cf six property owners requesting a suspension <br />street light at the corner of Tenth and Freeman Streets, was <br />referred to the Street Commissioner and City Engineer with <br />power to act. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Layton and carried, <br />the application ~ Homer E. Hunt for transfer of permit to <br />drive a taxicab for the Courtesy Cab Company, was granted on <br />recommendation of the Taxicab Commission. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seceded by Bruns and carried, <br />the Mayor and Clerk were instructed to sign an agreement with <br />A. H. Swanson covering the construction of an electric sign <br />at 1807 N. Main Street which extends over the five foot set <br />back line established on N.
