Tenth Street to construct driveway at their service station, Tent~ and Broadway, was referred to the Street Commissioner and City Engineer for investigation. # On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Layton~and carried, the application of Leroy Burns to have the property at the southwest corner of First and Ross Streets rezoned for busi- ness to conduct a wholesale electrical store, was referred to the Planning Commission for recommendation. # On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Penn and carried, the application of the Davis Standard Bread Company for a refund of $27.00 on license to peddle bakery products, which has been d~scontinued~ was denied. # On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried, the petition cf six property owners requesting a suspension street light at the corner of Tenth and Freeman Streets, was referred to the Street Commissioner and City Engineer with power to act. # On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Layton and carried, the application ~ Homer E. Hunt for transfer of permit to drive a taxicab for the Courtesy Cab Company, was granted on recommendation of the Taxicab Commission. # On motion of Trustee Penn, seceded by Bruns and carried, the Mayor and Clerk were instructed to sign an agreement with A. H. Swanson covering the construction of an electric sign at 1807 N. Main Street which extends over the five foot set back line established on N. Main Street. # On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried, the applications of Electrical Contractors for permits to hang electrical signs, were granted under supervision of the Electrical Inspector as the following locations: L. & W. Liquor Store The Town P~mp Mission Bootery 325 W. Fourth Street 514 W. Fourth Street 212 W. Fourth Street.
