On motion of Trustee B~uns, seconded by Layton and carried, the resignation of L.~C. Snodgrass, Police Officer, to take effect immediately, was accepted. # On motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by Bruns and carried, the following Ordinance entitled: "An Ordinance amending Zoning Ordinance No. 809 changing the Zone upon that certain real property locate6 at the southeast corner of First Street and Van Ness Street, from Single Family Residence Zone to Apartment House Zone" was introduced, read, considered and placed on file for second reading. # On motion of Trustee Penn, seoonded by Layton and carried, the following Resolution entitled: "Resolution establishing curb line on West side of Flower Street between Washington Avenue and Fifteenth Street" was read, considered, designated Resolution No. 2517 and passed by the following vote: Ayes, Trustees Plummet W. Bruns, Joseph P. Smith, W. H. Penn, Ernest H. Layton. Trustees None. Trustees Fred C. Rowland. Noes, Absent, # On motion of Trustee B~uns, seconded by Layton and carried, the following Ordinance entitled: #An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 962 entitled 'An Ordinance regulating and licensing the business of carrying passengers for hire in motor vehicles in the City of Santa Aha!" was read, considered, designated Ordinance No. 1042 and passed by the following vote: Ayes, Trustees Plummet W. Bruns, Joseph P. Smith, W. H. Penn, Ernest E. Layton. Noes, Trustees None. Absent, Trustees Fred C. Rowland. # On motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by B~uns an~ carried, the Auditor was authorized to enter into ~ontract for gasolin~ with the Union 0Il Company for the first six months,beginning April l, 1937, and with the Standard 0il Company for the last six months beginning October 1st, 1957. On motion of Trustee Bruns, the condensed report of the seconded by Layton and carried, City Auditor covering work in progress on the Metropolitan Water District during the month of February, 1957, was received and filed. On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Layton and carried, the report of the City Auditor for the Third Quarter on the Annual Budget, was received and filed.
