On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Stuns and carried, the application of James S. Jones for a permit to erect a duplex on Lot 20 and the north one-half of Lot 21, Tract 354 located on the east side of Olive Street between Tenth and Washington, was referred to the Planning Commission. On recommendation of the Planning Commission and on motion o: Trustee Smith, seconded by Layton and carried, the property described a~ Lot 20 and the north one-half of Lot 21, Tract ordered Posted for special uses and the Joint hear- set April 19th, 1937. On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried, the application of J. A. Milbrat to have the northwest corner of First and Shelton Streets rezoned to permit the construction of a drive-in market, was referred to the Planning Commission # On motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by Bl~uns and carried, the communication of B. W. Stevens requesting that single chimes or bells be placed on the stop signals located at the intersections of First and Main Streets and at Seventeenth and Main Streets and that stop signs be placed on Seventeenth Street at Broadway, was referred to the Traffic Safety Com- mission for recommendation. On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Smith and carried, the applications of 0tin W. Hamel, C. D. Graham and Walter F. Hodge for permits to drive taxicabs, were granted on recom- mendation of the Taxicab Commission. # On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Penn and carried, the applications of Electrical Contractors for permits to hang electrical signs, were granted under supervision of the Electrical Inspector at J. A. Dunn Don L. Andrews Hancock 0il Co. Owl Drug Co. Gem Hosiery On motion of Trustee the following locations: 1911 S. Main St. 112 E. Fifth St. 119 N. Main St. 101 W. 4th St. 101~ W. ~th St. Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, the monthly reports of the various City Officers for the month of March, were referred to the Finance Committee.
