zt45 <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Honor Roll <br /> <br />Mr. Perry Childs, Commander, Veterans of Foreign Wars, <br />appeared before the Council requesting permission to <br />erect an Honor Roll on municipal property showing names <br />of male and female residents of the City of Santa Ana <br />who hn. ve entered the armed forces. <br /> <br />The Mayor ad~ised Mr. ~hilds that this plan would be <br />taken under advisement by the Council as a ~hole and <br />suggested that Mr. Childs be present at the next <br />meeting. <br /> <br />APPROVED: / <br /> <br />Mayor of the/~ity of Santa Ana. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Cheney and <br /> <br />carried, the City Council adjourned. ~ <br /> <br /> City GlorY. <br /> <br />Council Cham~era <br /> <br />Santa Aha'City Hall <br /> <br />February 21st, 1944. <br /> <br />?:30 P.M. <br /> <br />City Council met in regular session. <br /> <br />Meeting called to order by Mayor Hoffman. <br /> <br />Present: Trustees <br /> <br />Absent: Trustees <br /> <br />Dal~'G. Carlin, dba Depot Cafe, 1025 E. Ath~t,, <br />was received and filed. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Applications <br /> <br />Electric Signs <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Haan and <br />carried, the applicatiormof Powell Neon Sign Co. to <br />hang a neon sign for W.F.Hobertson, 453 West $th St., <br /> <br />and for Maude V. Martin at 610 W. 4th St, were granted <br />and signs Orderedhung under supervision of the <br /> <br />Electrical Inspector. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Applications <br /> <br />Taxi and Bus <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by D~xon and <br />carried, applica~ons of Goldie O.
