L. Duerr, Pastor, Trinity <br />Lutheran Church to place small directional church signs <br />on lamp posts at 6th and No. Main Sts., Lacy and 1st <br />Sra. and Lacy and 4th Sts., was granted and signs to <br />be installed under supervision of City Engineer. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Haan and <br />carried, the application of the Holiness Mission Church, <br />Inc. to solicit funds on Fridays or Saturdays, such <br />funds to be used for preaching the gospel and for radio <br />work, was denied, account Ordinance requires only 10% <br />of the amount to be collected to be used for solicitation <br />expenses. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, communication from J.J.Zimmerman requesting <br />removal of two large trees, which are in danger of <br />crashing on his property at 210 So. Sycamore St., was <br />referred to Trustee Dixon and Chairman of the Forestry <br />Board with power to act. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Dixon and carried, <br />request of Hockaday & Phillips, Inc. for a loading zone <br />in front of their pl~ o~ business at 201-11 Spurgeon <br />St. was referred to Trustee Cheney. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Cheney and <br />ca.~-ied, application of C.L.Williamson to conduct the <br />business of dealing in motor vehicles at 306 W. 8th St., <br />was m~proved and Clerk instructed to issue license and <br />pe~mi~ to conduct such business a~lapplication fee <br />deposited. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and <br /> <br />carried, the reports of the Polic~ Department, Juvenile <br />Department and Poundmaster, for the month of January, <br /> <br /> <br />
