Bethel Tabernacle <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Communication <br /> <br />Pension Chairman Indoor <br /> <br />Sports Club Inc. of L.B.C. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Application to <br /> <br />Solicit Funds <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Communication <br /> <br />S.A.Council P.T.A. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Communication <br /> <br />D.H.Lea <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Minutes - Joint <br /> <br />Outfall Sewer Board <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Monthly Reports <br /> <br />Charge, <br />nights, <br /> <br />453 <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, communication from Mrs. E.H.Merker, Santa Ana <br />Council P.T.A. expressing their thanks to the Council <br />for enforcement of the Curfew Law, was received and <br />filed. <br /> <br />Communication and submission of bill in the amount of <br />$4.00 from D.H.Lea stating that a wheel of his truck <br />sank in the mud on North Bristol St.,where the Water <br />Dept. had been working and requesting reimbursement of <br />this charge, was read and on motion of Trustee Haan, <br />seconded by Dixon and carried, comunication and bill <br />were referred to the Auditor. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Deckert and <br /> <br />carried, the Minutes of the Executive Board of the <br />Outfall Sewer, held at the Elk's Club at Anaheim on <br /> <br />March 2nd, 1944, were received and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, the monthly reports of the Police Department <br />and of the Poundmaster, for February, 1944, were <br />received and filed. <br /> <br />nature at the northwest corner of Bush and Fourth Sts. <br />or at the northwest corner of Spurgeon and Fourth Sts., <br />each Saturday night, from ? P.M. to ?:30 P.M. was read. <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and <br />carried, the Mayor w~s authorized to appoint a committee <br />to investigate this request and report back at the <br />next meeting. Trustees Deckert and Cheney were <br />appointed on the committee. <br /> <br />Conununication from Mrs. Queenie Melville, Pension <br />Chairman Indoor Sports Club Inc. of L.B.C. requesting <br />that the Council go on record as favoring some kind of <br />pension for the handicapped and crippled people of the <br />State of California, was read. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, the communication was referred to the City <br />Attorney to report back at the next meeting. <br /> <br />,, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and <br /> <br />carried, the application of Major John Allen, Officer in <br /> Salvation Army, to solicit fuuds on Saturday <br /> was granted. <br /> <br /> <br />
