P.M. to ?:30 P.M. was read. <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and <br />carried, the Mayor w~s authorized to appoint a committee <br />to investigate this request and report back at the <br />next meeting. Trustees Deckert and Cheney were <br />appointed on the committee. <br /> <br />Conununication from Mrs. Queenie Melville, Pension <br />Chairman Indoor Sports Club Inc. of L.B.C. requesting <br />that the Council go on record as favoring some kind of <br />pension for the handicapped and crippled people of the <br />State of California, was read. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, the communication was referred to the City <br />Attorney to report back at the next meeting. <br /> <br />,, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and <br /> <br />carried, the application of Major John Allen, Officer in <br /> Salvation Army, to solicit fuuds on Saturday <br /> was granted. <br /> <br /> <br />
