Boyd, Chief of <br />Police, advising of appointment of Jack B. Lentz, as <br />patrolman, effective March 9th, 194A, was received and <br />filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and <br />carried, communication from Geo. G. Boyd, Chief of Police, <br />stating that Jack B. Minter, motor officer, Police Dept. <br />has applied for a leave of absence effective March 21st, <br />19AA, for the duration, to enter the armed forces, was <br />received, filed and leave of absenc~ granted.~ <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, communication from John L. Luxembourger, Chief <br />of Fire Dept. stating that A.O.Andrew, hoseman~,, resigned <br />March 8th, 19A4 and appointment of Sam Meyer, hoseman, <br />effective March 9th, 19AA, w~s received and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and <br />carried, communication from John L. Luxembourger, Chief <br />of Fire Dept. stating that M.E.Lamb resigned effective <br />March llth, 19A$, and appointment of Earl Stanley Thompson <br />to position as hoseman, effective March lath, 19AA, was <br />received and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and <br />carried, house mover's bond of Doyle McMillin, in the <br />amount of $1,000.00, written by the Aetna Casualty and <br />Surety Co., was approved. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Dixon and carried, <br />the following Resolution entitled: <br /> <br /> "Resolution Concerning Parking Limitations Under Ordinance No. 1030" <br /> <br />abandoning loading zone on the west side of Bush St. <br />between 8th and 8th Sts., located as follows: The south <br />15 ft. of the north l~O ft., was introduced, read, con- <br />sidered, designated Resolution No. 33~1 and passed by the <br /> <br />following vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes, Trustees <br /> <br />Dale G.
