Gothard, Pres. Santa Ana <br />Board of Realtors, stating that a City real estate <br />license should be collected from every broker holding a <br />California State license, was read, and on motion of <br />Trustee Dixon, seconded by Cheney and carried, the Chai~ <br />was requested to appoint a committee to investigate <br />this matter and report back at the next meeting. <br /> <br />Communication from Consolidated Vultee Aircraft Corp. <br />requesting a 40 ft. loading zone at lO15 E. 1st St., to <br />facilitate handling of materials and equipment, was <br />read, and on motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by <br />Dixon and carried, metter was referred to the Street <br />Commissioner and Street Soperintendent to investigate <br />and report back at the next meeting. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and <br />carried, application of Ralph C~arles Esparza for a <br />permit to operate a pool hall at 40? Central Ave., <br />referred to the Chief of Police to report back at <br />next meeting. <br /> <br />was <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, application of Antonia Montes for a permit to <br />operate a pool hall at 2309 South Main St., was referred <br />to the Chief of Police to report back at the next <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Application of Julius B. Lowenstein and Neubert Perrin <br />for a permit to operate a billiard parlor at 310~ No. <br />Broadway was read, and on motion of Trustee Deckert, <br />seconded by Dixon and carried, permit was granted and <br />Clerk instructed to issue license. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, application of Donald L. Comstock for a permit <br />to drive a taxicab for the Broadway Cab Co., was denied. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and <br /> <br />carried, applications of Mrs. Birdie Fay Cross and Doris <br />R.
