Bryson, as patrolman, <br /> effective April 2Sth, 1944, was received and filed. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Haan and <br /> carried, communication from Geo.G.Boyd, Chief of Police, <br /> advising of resignation of Voris K. Robison, as patrolman, <br /> effective April lSth, 19~, was received and resignation <br /> accepted. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Haan and <br /> carried, the Clerk was authorized to proceed to open <br /> bids covering the construction of a frame building of <br /> approximately 2260 square feet area, at the Joint Outfall <br /> Sewer Plant. <br /> <br /> J. P. Rumar, in the amount of $6,A~7.00; Cashier's <br /> check in the amount of $6AA.O0, enclosed. <br /> John C. Blystone, in the amount of $8,V88.00; <br /> Cashier's check not enclosed. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Haan and <br /> carried, the bids were referred to the Joint Outfall <br /> Sewer Board. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Dixon and carried, <br />agreement between the City of Santa Aha and the Pacific <br />Electric Railway Co., relative abandonment of railroad <br />from ~th St. Santa Ana to the City of Orange and abandon- <br />ment of all electrical overhead from ~th St. Santa Ana <br />to connection with Southern Pacific R.R. at Marlboro, <br />and removal of switches and curves of abandoned railroad <br />within the limits of ~th St., and repaying of street in <br />manner satisfactory to the City, Was accepted and Mayor <br />and Clerk authorized to sign this agreement. <br /> <br />Oommunicatlon from Harold Yost, Secy. Santa Aha City <br />Schools, was read relative to agreement between the City <br />of Santa Aha and Santa Ana Board of Education on Community <br />Recreation Program. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Haan, the <br />following Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br /> "An Ordinance Establishing a Recreation <br /> Department for the City of Sm taAna Under <br /> the Management of a Recreation Comission <br /> Consisting of Seven (7) M~abmrs; Prescribing <br /> the Manner of Appointment of the Members" <br /> <br />was read, considered, designated Ordinance No. 1137 and <br />passed by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes, Trustees <br /> <br />Noes, Trustees <br />Absent,Trustees <br /> <br /> W.
