Tway <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Advertise for Bids <br /> <br />Cast Iron Pipe <br /> <br />"An Ordinance Repealing That Certain <br />Ordinance of the City of Santa Ana <br />Relating to Traffic Safet~ Commission <br />and Traffic Safety Patrol" <br /> <br />was read, considered, designated Ordinance No. ll40 <br /> <br />and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes, Trustees <br /> <br />Noes, Trustees <br />Absent,Trustees <br /> <br />W. Eugene Dixon, Otto R. Haan, <br />W.J.Cheney, Dale G. Deckert. <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Asa Hof ~man <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, the resignation of Wm. J. Tway, as Chairman <br />of the Planning Cormnission, was accepted with regrets <br />Clerk instructed to write Mr. Tway commending him on <br />his valuable services while on the Commission. <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />At the request of the Purchasing Agent and on motion <br /> <br />of Trustee Haan, seconded by Dixon and carried, the <br />Clerk was authorized to advertise for bids covering <br /> <br />5000 ft. 12" Class 150 Cast Iron Pipe Cement Lined and <br /> <br />2000 ft. 8" Class 150 Cast Iron Pipe Cement Lined. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Cheney and <br /> <br />carried, the City Council adjourned. <br /> <br /> - City Clerk <br /> <br />City Council met in regular session. <br /> <br />Meeting called to order by Nayor Hoffman. <br /> <br />Present: TrUstees Dale G. Deckert, W. Eugene Dixon, <br /> Otto R. Haan, W.J. Cheney, Asa Hof~man <br /> <br />Absent: Trustees None <br /> <br />The Clerk comenced the reading of the Minutes and each <br />member of the City Council having received copies of the <br />Minutes of June 19th, further reading of the Minutes was <br />dispensed with and approved on motion of Trustee Haan, <br />seconded by Dixon and carried. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Comunication <br /> <br />Assistance League <br /> <br />Council Chambers <br /> <br />Santa Ana City Hall <br /> <br />July 5rd, 1944. 7:50 P.M. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and <br /> of the <br />carried, communication from President/Assistance League <br /> <br />expressing appreciation for permission granted them to <br />use 6th St. between Broadway and Sycamore Sts., on June <br />24th, for the Allied Nations Street Fair and commending <br />the Fire, Police and Street Dep~rtments for their co- <br />operation, was received and filed. <br /> <br /> <br />
