484 <br /> <br />City of Santa Ana <br /> <br />A PPR OVED: <br /> <br />City of Santa Ana was approved and warrant ordered drawn <br />in the a~ou~t of $4,000.00 in settlement of all claims <br />of parties to the action prior to October 13th, 1943, <br />and Auditor wastnstructed to draw warrants for back pay <br />from October 13, 1943 up to July 1, 1944 to be paid to <br />the Firemen at the rate of four twelve-hour working <br />shifts per month, per man. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, the City Council adjourned. <br /> <br />Council Chambers <br /> <br />Santa Aha City Hall <br /> <br />July 17th, 1944. 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />City Council met in regular session. <br /> <br />Meeting called to order by Mayor Hoffman. <br /> <br />Present: <br /> <br />Trustees Dale G. Deckert, W. Eugene Dixon, <br /> Otto R. Haan <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and <br />carried, the notification of the State Board of Equal- <br />ization of alcoholic beverage appltcationsmade by Louis <br />Rodriguez, dba E1 Faro Grocery, 1301 E. 1st St., Raymond <br />W. Gorman, dba A.&.A. Liquor Store, 325 W. 4th and <br />Raymond W. Gorman, dba Oakwood Wineries, 4lB W. 4th St., <br />were received and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, the application of John A. Dussault to drive a <br /> <br /> taxicab for the Broadway Cab Co. was received and permit <br />granted. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Haan and carried, <br />the excerpt from the Minutes of the meeting of the City <br />Council of the City of Fullerton, held June 8th, 1944, <br />was received and filed. <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Cheney, seconded by Dixon and <br />carried, the request of Otto R. Haan for a leave of absence <br />from the State for a period of five weeks, beglnni~ <br /> <br />July 2$th, 1944, was granted. <br /> <br /> <br />
