<br /> carried, communication from Chief of Fire Del~rtment
<br /> advising of appointments of Frank E. Ticer, July 9t~,
<br /> 1944, Homer E. Henderson, July 1st, 19~4, Robert D.
<br /> Campbell, July ?th, 1B44, Fredrick E. Cordick, July 12t
<br /> 1B44 and William A. Bramley, July 1st, l~A4, as
<br /> Hosemen, was received, filed and appointments ratified.
<br />
<br /> A petition was presented, signed by twenty-six resident~
<br /> of the area in or adjacent to the intersection of
<br /> Orange and Edinger Sts. requesting that boulevard stop
<br /> signs be placed on Edinger St. each side of Orange Ave.
<br /> The Mayor appointed Trustees Cheney, Deckert and City
<br /> Engineer to investigate this matter and report back.
<br />
<br /> On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and
<br /> carried, the monthly reports of the Poundmaster,
<br /> Juvenile Bureau and Police Dept. for the month of June,
<br /> l~A4, were received and filed.
<br />
<br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and
<br />carried, house mover's bond of Star House Movers, Inc.,
<br />in the amount of $1,000.00, written by the Hartford
<br />Accident and Indemnity Co., was approved.
<br />
<br />On motion of Trustee Cheney, seconded by Deckert and
<br />carried, the following Resolution entitled:
<br />
<br /> "Resolution Concerning Parking Limitations Under Ordinance No. 1030"
<br />
<br />establishing a loading zone on the south side of West
<br />3rd St. between Main and Sycamore Sts., located as
<br />follows: The Easterly 20 feet of the Westerly 31 feet;
<br />was read, considered, designated Resolution No. 3348
<br />and passed by the following vote:

<br />Pursuant to Resolution of Intention, the Clerk read the
<br />offer of Chas. C. Carrillo to purchase Lot 10, Block 6,
<br />Tract No. 39, in the City of Santa Ana, in the amount
<br />of $65.00.

<br />No person being present desirous of raising the bid of
<br />Chas. C. Carrillo, on motion of Trustee Deckert,
<br />by Dixon and carried, the Resolution For Sale of Real
<br />Property was read, considered, designated Resolution
<br />No. 3346 and passed by the following vote:
