Babcock to drive a bus and of <br />Charlotte Turner to drive a taxicab, were granted and licens <br />ordered issued. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and carried, <br />the resignation of Capt. Charlws W. Wolford from the Police <br />Dept., was accepted with sincere regrets as of October 16th, <br />19A4 and the appointment of Richard M. Bradley to the rank <br />of emergency captain, was approved. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and carried, <br />the communication from the Planning Commissio~stating that <br />the Commission approved the site at the southwest corner of <br />Seventeenth and Bristol Streets for a new Junior College, <br />was received and filed. <br /> <br />The communication of H. C. Head was read, setting forth cer- <br />tain facts that he felt should be considered before appoint- <br />ing a committee to draft and submit a special charter for th. <br />City of Santa Aha. On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by <br />Deckert and carried, the communication of H. C. Head was <br />received and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and carried, <br />the monthly reports of the Police Dept. and Poundmaster for <br />month of September, were received and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Oheney and carried, <br />the report submitted by Diehl and Company, Accountants, <br />covering the audit of city accounts for the fiscal year <br />beginning July 1, 19A$ and ending June 30, i~A, was receive~ <br />and filed. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />Notice and Petition was read, signed by property owners in <br />the vicinity of the intersection of the right of way propertl <br />of the A. T. & Santa Fe Railroad Company with Ritchie Street <br />Tustin Avenue, Newport Road and Lyon Street, requesting <br />imediate investigation of waters accumulating to the north <br />and west of said properties and correction of said conditions <br />On motion of Trustee Cheney, seconded by Dixon and carried, <br />the petition of Frank T. Hoffman and others was referred to <br />the City Engineer for investigation and report. <br /> <br />Rev. W.M.
