B o Snow <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Request <br /> <br />Izaak Walton League <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and carried <br />communication from Diehl & Co. relative to quarterly audit <br />of City records and accounts for period ending Sept. <br />was received and filed. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion ~f Trustee Dixon, seconded by Deckert and carried, <br />communication from Executive Board of the Ebell Society of <br />the Santa Ana Valley, representing over 700 local women, <br />recommending the purchase of the present Jr. College site on <br />No. Main St. by the City Council, to be used, in the future, <br />for a Civic Center, was received and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deekert, seconded by Cheney and carried,i <br />com~unication from Robt. N. Hockaday recommending that <br />further study be made of locations in the vicinity of the <br />County Court House for proposed Civic Center, before any <br />action is taken on purchase of Jr. College property on No. <br />Main St., was received and filed. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and carried, <br />communication f~om N.B. Snow protesting against the building <br />of a proposed Civic Center on the Jr. College site on No. <br />Main St. and suggesting that County and City buildings be <br />grouped in a Civic Center, was received and filed. <br /> <br />A ~communication from the Santa Ana Chapter, Izaak Walton <br /> <br />League, requesting a long-time lease on a s~ll portion of <br /> <br />land on the nox-th side of Santiago Cre~k adjacent to the <br /> <br /> <br />
