On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and carried, the Chief of Police was authorized to appoint a special emergency pOlicewoman, at a salary of $160.00 per month, for the period November 1st, 1944 to Decembe 26th, 1944. # Communication from the Fire Chief advising of resignat! of W.A.Bramley, Paul Smith, J.D.Price and Ed Codrick and appointments of Fred F. Wilson, Walter Ellison Spoor and Chester D. Grimes, was read and on motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and carried, the communication was received and filed. On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and cax~ried, the notifications of the State Board of Equal- ization of alcoholic beverage applications made by Theo T. 0sbo~ne, dba Theo~s, 518 E. 4th and Albert B~Aue' Charles E. Roes and Clementine M. Roberts, dba Lido Cafe 41§ N. Bush St., were received and filed. # On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Cheney and carried, application of Powell Neon Sign Co. to hang a neon sign for Dickson and Dahl, at 514-15 E. 5rd St., was granted and sign ordered hung under supervision of Electrical Inspector.
