Doug Paterson, W.J.Tway, C.D.Swanner, E.L.Bpence George A. Parker, George Dunton, R.C. Hoiles, Sam Hu~wit Fred Forgy, W.F.Sorensen, Jack Rimel, Miss Dorothy Decke Ben R. Manker, Phil Brown and Frank J. Lincoln. On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Haan and carried, the appointments were approved. # The committee reported that S. Louise Leonard, dba Delhi Cafe, 407 Central Ave. had withdrawn h6~ application for an on-sale beer license and on motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and carried, the notificatic was received and filed, Nm. L. Hart, of the American Legion, appeared before the Council requestiug that they be granted permission to conduct Poppy Day, November 10th and llth, and on motion of T~ustee Haan, seconded by Dixon and carried, the request was granted. # Mr. F~ed Forgy appeared before the Councll and presentei a petition si~ned by approximately 130 residents and taxpayers opposing the use of the present Junior College site for a Civic Center and remindin~ the Council that the present City Hall is only ten years old and that there is objection to the expenditume of public funds unless absolutely necessary; also sug~estin~ that such proposed Civic Center be grouped with present Court House site as property in that vicinity could be purchased from the County. Messrs. Everett White and R.B. Spra~ue also appeared before the Council obJecttn~ to the proposed Civic Center. On motion of T~astee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and carried, the petition was received and filed. # On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and carried, the City Council adJouz-ned. ~ City Clerk
