Heard <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Communication <br /> <br />Elvin Milbrat <br /> <br />7:30 P.M* <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Haan and <br />carried, communication from Faulkner, Oakes& Faulkner, <br />public accountants, relative to auditing the accounts <br />and records of the City of Santa Ana, w~s received, <br />filed and referred to City Auditor. <br /> <br />Request of Santa Aha War Finance Committee for use of <br />down-town business section streets for parade purposes <br />Saturday, November ~5th, 1944, to start off the Sixth <br />War Loan Drive, was read and on motion of Trustee Haan, <br />seconded by Deckert and carried, the request was <br />referred to the Police Department. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Deckert and <br />carried, communication from Secy. Planning Commission <br />was referred to City Attorney with instructions to <br />prepare Ordinance controlling locations of rest homes, <br />churches, public halls and other similar uses that <br />require regulation under the Zoning Ordinance. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />The resignation of Walter L. Fox, patrolman, effective <br />November 18th, 1944, was read and on motion of Trustee <br />Deckert, seconded by Dixon and carried, the resignation <br />was accepted with regrets. <br /> <br />On recommendation of the Chief of Police and on motion <br />of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Haan and carried, the <br />appointment of Arthur F. Heard, as patrolman, effective <br />November 16th, 1944, was approved. <br /> <br />Communication l~om Elvin Milbrat requesting infOrmation <br />as to what measures have been taken to prevent Juvenile <br />.delinquency was read, and on motion of Trustee Deckert, <br />seconded by Cheney and carried, communication was <br />referred to Recreation Department and Clerk instructed <br />to noti~ackSt.anley~,fl.this action. <br /> <br /> <br />
