<br /> read, considered, designated Ordinance No. 1219 and passed by

<br />On recommendation of the committee and on motion of Trustee
<br />Chandler, seconded by Cheney and carried, request of W.T.Cox Co.
<br />to remove a portion of curbing, said portion not to exceed 19 ft.
<br />in length, from the north side of Fruit St. approximately 100 ft.
<br />west of the center of Lincoln Ave., was granted.

<br />On recommendation of the Forestry Board and on motion of Trustee
<br />Chandler, seconded by Cheney and carried, petition of residents
<br />and property owners requesting removal of sycamore trees on South
<br />Flower St., was denied.
<br />
<br />On motion of Trustee~Cheney, seconded by Chandler and carried,
<br />request of Saunders & Co. for loading zone at 108 No. Sycanore
<br />was ordered held in abeyance indefinitely.

<br />On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Cheney and carried,
<br />map showing portion of Towner Street was approved and the follow-
<br />ing Resolution entitled:

<br /> was read, considered, designated Resolution No. 3638 and passed

<br />the street improvements on Tenth Street, in Tract No. 1262, and
<br />an extension thereof to Pacific Ave., was approved.

<br /> Real Property for Street Purposes"
<br />from Frank A. Showalter and Fanny S. Showalter, husband and wife,
<br />covering the following described property:
<br />"Beginning at the northwest corner of Lot 33 of Tract
<br /> No. 671 as per map thereof recorded in Book 24, at
<br /> page 32 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange
<br /> County, California, said point being the western
<br /> terminus of the south line of Tenth Street, as shown
<br /> on said ma~ of Tract No. 671; running thence south
<br /> 89° 36' 15 west 165.15 feet along the westerly
<br /> extension of the said south line of Tenth Street
<br /> to its intersection with the center line of Pacific
