<br />On motion or Trustee Reed, seconded by Chandler and carried, the
<br />recommendation of the Planning Commission that a variance be
<br />granted Wesley J. Farney to permit the front yard requirement on
<br />all lots in Tract No. 1290 to be reduced from 60 feet to 55 feet
<br />from the center line of Eleventh Street, was accepted an~ the
<br />variance grantee.

<br />On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Cheney and carried,
<br />the following Ordinance entitled:
<br />
<br /> "An Ordinance of the City of Santa Ana declaring
<br /> the Intention to Vacate portions of certain streets
<br /> and alleys within said City describing those portions
<br /> proposed to be vacated, and fixing the time and place
<br /> for hearing of all persons interested in or objecting
<br /> to the proposed vacation"
<br />
<br />was read, considered, designated Ordinance No. 1~40 and passed
<br />by the following vote:

<br /> Streets, was read, considered, designated Ordinance No. 1241 and
