<br />On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Cheney and carried,
<br />the recommendation of the Planning Commission that a variance be
<br />granted to M.B.Schnee to use part of an existing residence at 515
<br />W. Second St. for a chiropodist's office, under certain conditions
<br />was approved and variance granted.

<br /> On recommendation of the City Engineer and on motion of Trustee
<br /> Reed, seconded by Chandler and carried, the bid of Joe W. Morgense
<br /> in the amount of $3,625.00, was accepted for the sinking of a
<br />
<br /> ~' x 5' shaft around a casing of a well and repairing the casing.
<br /> On recommendation of the committee and on motion of Trustee
<br />
<br /> Reed, seconded by Chandler and carried, request of Del~his G. Roy
<br /> to operate a pool hall at 403 W. 4th St., was granted.
<br />
<br /> On recommendation of the committee and on motion of Trustee
<br /> Chandler, seconded by Martin and carried, the request of Polar
<br /> Pantries, 2020 S. Main St. to ~-emove curb between two driveways,
<br /> was granted.
<br />
<br /> The recommendation of the committee was read that no changes be
<br /> made in the Sound Truck Ordinance, reference request of Myrtle
<br /> Bachman that she be permitted to operate a sound truck without
<br /> payment of city license, and on motion of Trustee Reed, seconded
<br /> by Cheney and carried, recommendation was accepted and communicati
<br /> received and filed.
