O~uz, 902 E. 4th St., was received, and filed. # On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Martin and carried, toques1 of 0cast Beverage Go. 300 No. Broadway, for a loading zone on W. 3rd St., was referred to committee cf Trustee Oheney and City Engineer to investigate and report back. # On motion cf Trustee Chandler, seconded by Martin and carried, request of Mildred Decker, 817 No. Main St. and Jennie X. 819 No. Main St., for time parking zone was referred to committee of Trustee Cheney and City Engineer to investigate and report back. # On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Cheney and carried, requesl of Santa Aha 0ommunity Hospital for two lights to be erected in front of new hospital addition, facing on East Washington, was referred to Trustee Oheney and City Engineer to investigate and report back. # On motion cf Trustee Chandler, seconded by Cheney and carried, the application of Homer F. Simmons to conduct the business of dealing in motor vehicles at 315 South Main Street, was granted. # On motion of Trustee Martin, seconded by Reed and carried, the applications of Elbert L. Tisdale and William T. Paine, to drive taxicabs, were granted and permits ordered issued. Communication was read from Rev. James Elmer, on behalf of residents of Palm Street requesting t~hat parking time limit of hours be established to remedy the parking situation;also report of Mayor was read who advised that Manager of Oase-Swayne had been contacted and employees would be requested not to abuse parking facilities on the s~eet and refrain from littering the parkways and streets. On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by 0honey and carried, communication and report were filed and Clerk to notify first signer on petition as to progress made to date. # On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Cheney and carried, the reports of Building Department, Police Department, Judge's office for the month of October, Fifth.Annual Report of Recreation Department covering fiscal year 1948-1949 and report on the Orange County Joint Outfall Sewer Operations, were received and filed. #
