<br /> Hammes Decorating Co. for the painting of the water tank has been
<br /> completed and that bond written by the Fireman's Fund Indemnity
<br /> Co., in the amount of $1,100.00, may be released. On motion~of
<br /> Trustee Cheney, seconded by Mandy and carried, communication was
<br />
<br /> received, filed and bond ordered released.

<br /> On motion of Trustee Mandy, seconded by Cheney and carried, reques
<br /> of Chief of Police ~o purchase 1948 Studebaker Commander, for use
<br /> of Police Dept., was referre~ to committee. Chairman appointed
<br /> Trustees Mandy, Chandler and Auditor, es committee.

<br />On recommendation of the Engineer and on motion of Trustee Reed,
<br />seconded by Mandy and carried, the Clerk was authorized to
<br />advertise for bids covering furnishing of 600, $/8"3 3/4" bronze
<br />water meters, without connections; bids to be opened Mar. 7th, l~4~
<br />Communication was read from Engineer stating that improvements
<br />within boundaries of Tract No. 119~ have been completed and bond
<br />in the amount of $1~B,O00.O0, submitted by the Santa Ana Building
<br />and Loan Assoc. may be released. On motion of Trustee Cheney,
<br />seconded by Reed and carried, communication was received, filed
<br />and bond ordered released.

<br />Communication was read from Engineer stating that improvements
<br />
<br />in Tract No. l~O, being llth St. from Bristol to Pacific, have
<br />been completed and bond in the amount of $18,000.00, submitted by
<br />Wesley Farney may be released. On motion of Trustee Reed,
<br />seconded by Cheney and carried, communication was received, filed
<br />and bond ordered released.

<br />On motion of Trustee Mandy, seconded by Cheney and carried,
<br />communication from Eugene Velzy, Asst. Supt. Div. of Beaches and
<br />'Parks, protesting receipt of overtime parking ticket, was received
<br />and filed.
<br />
<br />Communication was read from Secy. Electrical Contractors of Orange
<br />County protesting indescriminate enforcement of the parking
<br />Ordinance. On motion of Trustee Mandy, seconded by Cheney and
<br />carried, commuuication was received, filed and Clerk instructed to
<br />forward copy of Memo to Secretary which outlines temporary measure
<br />of issuing "no parsing" cards to commercial vehicles.

<br />On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Cheney and carried,
<br />request of Comrades. of the Purple Heart to conduct a donation sale
<br />of Purple Heart buttons, was denied.

<br />On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Chandler and carried, reques
