In Re <br />Resol. No. 3809 <br />Accepting Deed <br />Board of Education <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Cheney and carried, the <br />following Resolution entitled: <br /> <br /> "Resolution Accepting Deed Granting Easement" <br /> <br />from Santa Ana Board of Educatien, conveying an easement for all <br /> <br />the purposes and uses of a public street along a strip of land 30 <br /> <br />feet in width for the East one-half of Flower St. between Delhi <br /> <br />Road and Anahurst Place, was read, considered, designated <br />Resolution No. 3809 and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br />In Re <br />Resol. Mandy <br /> <br />No written or oral protests having been received, on mStion of <br /> <br />Trustee Chandler, seconded by Cheney and carried, the following <br /> <br />Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br />"An Ordinance of the City of Santa Ana <br />establishing a set-back line on a portion <br />of the north side of West First Street, <br />from Sullivan Street East" <br /> <br />was introduced, read, considered and placed on file for second <br /> <br />In Re <br />Auto dealer's permit <br />fees Report <br /> <br />reading. <br /> <br />Report was read from City Attorney reference <br /> <br />automobile dealer' s <br /> <br />permit fees in various cities, and on motion of Trustee Reed, <br /> <br />seconded by Chandler and carried, Chairman was authorized to <br /> <br />appoint a committee to give matter further study and to report <br /> <br />In Re <br />Report - activities <br />at Museum <br /> <br />back. <br /> <br />Chairman named same committee as previously appointed. <br /> <br />A report was read from Auditor and on motion of Trustee Chandler, <br /> <br />seconded by Reed and carried, due to the fact that Charles Helton <br /> <br />Caretaker, at Bowers Museum is required to live in the apartment <br /> <br />on the property, there will be no deduction from his salary for <br /> <br />In Re <br />Request <br />Esquirette Social <br />& Charity Club et al <br /> <br />the apartment~ effective July 1st, 1949. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Cheney and carried, <br />the application of Esquirette Social & Charity Club, et al, for <br />use of Municipal Bowl, was referred back to Park Superintendent <br /> <br />In Re <br />Warrants <br /> <br />for solution of rental charges. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Chandler and carried, the <br /> <br />demands as audited by the Finance Committee were approved and <br /> <br />In Re <br />Communication <br />Mabel and Robert <br />Phillips <br /> <br />Clerk authorized to issue warrants covering demands. <br /> <br />The M~or reported that Manager of Case-Swayne Co. had been <br />contacted and agreement reached that ample parking facilities <br />will be available to employees in the near future and on motion <br /> <br />of Trustee Reed, seconded by Chandler and carried, report was <br /> <br />accepted and Clerk directed to so notify Mr. Phillips. <br /> <br /> <br />
