<br />On motion of Trustee Ch-~dler, seconded by Martin and carried,
<br />the application of Lloyd R. Lofgren to conduct the business of
<br />dealing, in motor vehicles at 1327 No. Main Street, was granted.
<br />On recommendation of the City Engineer and on motion of Trustee
<br />Reed, seconded by Chandler and carried, a six months extension of
<br />time was granted J.W.Morgensen on his contract for sinking of a
<br />shaft around a casing of a well.and repairing the casing,
<br />
<br />On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Martin and carried, the
<br />recommendationsfomVeterans~ Rousing Project, as submitted by the
<br />committee, were approved and effective date to be February 1st,
<br />1950, reference termination tenant's occupancy and rental rates.
<br />On motion of Trustee 0haudler, seconded by Martin and carried,
<br />executed copy of Form PHA-1907, Relinquishment and Transfer under
<br />the Independent Offices Appropriation Act, 1950, of Veterans~
<br />Housing Project, Casa de Santa Aha, together with report of Dish.1
<br />& Company, were received and filed.
<br />
<br />On motion cf Trustee Reed, seconded by Chandler and carried~
<br />the demands as audited by ~he Finance Committee were approved and
<br />Clerk authorized to issue warrants covering demands.
<br />
<br />On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Reed and carried, the
<br />reports of the Building Department,and Judgels office, for the
<br />month of.December,,1949, were received and filed.
<br />
<br />On recommendation of the City Engineer and on motion of Trustee
<br />Reed~ seconded by Martin and carried, plan for the widening and
<br />straightening the southwest corner of Santa Clara and Santiago
<br />AvenUes was approved and proper authority authorized to sign
<br />e~crow agreement between City and John J. Vernon and MildredA.
