<br />to give further study to the recommendation.

<br />request of Santa Ana Area Girl Scout Council for use of the

<br />On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Martin and carried,
<br />
<br />communications from Orange County Builderts Association and
<br />
<br />Electrical Contractors of Orange County, requesting adoption of
<br />
<br />new Electrical Code, were received and filed.

<br />On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Martin and carried,
<br />
<br />the following Ordinance entitled:
<br />
<br />"An Ordinance to be known as the Administrative
<br />Electrical Code of the City of Santa Aha;
<br />Creating the office of Electrical Inspector,
<br />Prescribing his duties and Authority; Providing
<br />for the issuance of Electrical Permits and for
<br />inspections and fixing the fees thereof; Regu-
<br />lating the installation, arrangement, alteration,
<br />repair, maintenance and operation of electric
<br />wiring, electric fixtures, and other electrical
<br />appliances and equipment; providing a penalty
<br />for violation of the same; repealing Ordinance
<br />No. 1116 and all other Ordinances~and parts of
<br />Ordinances in conflict therewith and adopting
<br />by reference that certain printed Electrical
<br />Code printed in book form entitled #Administra-
<br />tive Electrical Code", three copies of which are
<br />on file in the office of the City Clerk for use
<br />and e~-mination by the public"

<br />On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Martin and oarried,-the
<br />Building Inspector was authorized to rewrite Ordinance No. 920
<br />setting fortbprocedure covering plumbing and electrical
<br />examinations. Chairman appointed Trustees Reed and Chandler, as
<br />committee. The Building Inspector requested that one Master
<br />
<br />Plumber and one Master Electrician also be added to the committee
<br />#
<br />
<br />On motion of T~ustee Reed, seconded by Chandler and carried, the
<br />request of Sub-s:a~ion Post Office, 1448 So. Main St. for a twent
<br />minute zone on the north side of Edinger Street west of So. Main
<br />St., was referred to Trustee Cheney and City Engineer for reeommen.
