V:30 P.M. <br /> <br />Communication from R.B.Daugherty, Ma~or, Corps of <br />Engineers, advising that Lease No. W <br />between the Government and City of Santa Ana, covering <br />409.49 acres of land located in Orange County, has been <br />transferred from the Commanding General, AAF Training <br />Command, Ft. Worth, Texas, to the Commanding General, <br />Hqs. AAF Personnel Distribution Command, New Jersey~ <br />effective Nov. 1, 194A, was read and on motion of <br />Trustee Dixon, seconded by Deckert and carried, <br />communication was received and filed. <br /> <br />The City Attorney's report on the case of former fire- <br />man, Edward D. Wheeler, in regard to City's liability <br />was read, and on motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by <br />Dixon and carried, the comw, micatlon was received and <br />filed. <br /> <br />Communication from W.A. Taylor stating that an abnormal <br />number of leaks are occurring in the pipes in the house: <br />and apartment houses of Santa Ana due to the action of <br />the Metropolitan water on the pipes w~s read, and on <br />motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Cheney and carried, <br /> <br /> <br />
