47! <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />League Airport <br /> <br />& Aviation Commzittee <br /> <br />Meeting - Report <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Leave of Absence <br /> <br />Virginia Curry <br /> <br />Ana. <br /> <br />Trustee Deckert reported on meeting of League Airport <br /> <br />& Aviation Committee held at Sacramento~ April 6th in <br />regard to bills pending before the State Legislature on <br />post-war aviation plans and development stating that <br />Orange County and each City in Orange County should bea <br />their proportionate share of expense to maintain a <br />County airport not only for passenger travel but for <br />shipment of fruits and ~reigh~ by air. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Dixon and carried <br />Trustee Deckert was authorized to attend future meetings <br />whenever possible in order to keep in touch with this <br />vital situation. <br /> <br />On recomendatlon of the City Engineer and on motion of <br />Trustee Haan, seconded by Cheney and carried, request <br />for leave of absence for a period of thl~ee months, <br />beginning May 1st, 1945, Was g~a~ted, to Virginia Curry, <br />employed in the Water Department. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Cheney, seconded by Dixon and <br />carried, the City Council adjourned. <br /> <br /> City Clerk <br /> <br />City Council met in regular session. <br /> <br />Meeting called to order by Mayor Hoffman. <br /> Trustees: <br />Present: W, Eugene Dixon, Otto R. Haan, <br /> W.J.Cheney, Asa Hoffman <br /> <br />Absent: Trustees Dale G.
