McWethy, Kenneth Paul Fontaine, Donald L. <br />Williams, Jewel ~1. Hancock and Bill Moody, to drive <br />taxis for the Broadway Cab Co., were granted and Clerk <br />authorized to issue licenses. <br /> <br />Request of Orange County Holiness Association for <br />permission to hold a ten day camp meeting from May 23rd <br />to June 3rd on Lots 8 and 10, Block "B" Tract 139 was <br />read. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried the Con~nittee was requested to secure signatures <br />of property owners and residents in the block north of <br />and in the irmu.~ediate block south of location of camp <br />meeting approving the request and file same in the offie <br />of the City Clerk. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Cheney, seconded by Dixon ~nd <br />carried, applications of Santa Ana Neon Co. to hang a <br />neon sign for Radio Station K.V.0.E. 208 No. Main St., <br />and Powell Neon Sign Co. to hang a neon sign for John <br />and Martha Koofolis, 401 W. 4th St., were granted and <br />signs ordered hung under supervision of the Electrical <br />Inspector. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Dixon and carried <br />request of Mrs. Genevieve Wisner for permission to hold <br />public dances in the Club House at 407 Central Avenue on <br />Saturday nights, beginning May 12th, was referred to <br />the Police and Fire Departments to investigate and <br />report back at next meeting. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Cheney, seconded by Dixon and <br />carried, Naval Supply Depot-San Diego Contract N244s- <br />39561 between the United States of America and the City <br />of Santa Ana, covering the disposal of sewage from the <br />Naval Air Station, Santa Ana, wos extended for the <br />fiscal year beginning July 1st, 1945. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Cheney, seconded by Haan and <br />carried, Notices of Renewal of Leases W-509-eng-1709 on <br />the West Coast Air Corps Training Center Headquarters <br />and W-868 eng-40$7 on the West Coast Air Force Training, <br />Center, Temporary Barracks, for the period July 1st, <br />1945 to J~nae 30th, 1946, were ordered signed by the <br />Clerk. <br /> <br /> <br />
