In Re <br /> <br />ProteSt-~Eainst <br /> <br />erection of Warehouse <br />1600 Block Palm St. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Monthly <br /> <br />Reports <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Monthly <br /> <br />Warrant s <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Lo~ding Zone <br /> <br />Bush ~t. btn 3rd & <br /> <br />4th <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Improvement 4th St. <br /> <br />from Artesia to <br />S,uthern Pacific Tracks <br /> <br />Mayor of ~ of San,ta Ana. <br /> <br /> A protest was presented signed by property owners and <br /> residents in the vicinity of Lots ll, 13 and 15, Block <br /> "B", Gardner Villa Tract, being on the north side of <br /> Palm St. in the 1600 block East, objecting to the <br /> erection of a warehouse at that location. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Cheney and <br /> carried, the protest was received and referred to the <br /> Planning Con~ntssion. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Cheney and <br /> carried, the report of the Building Dept. for Santa Ana <br /> and City of Tustin for month of April; Judge's report <br /> for April; Police Dept. report for AprilsJPoundmaster,s <br /> reports for April and May, and Juvenile report for <br /> April, were received and filed. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Cheney and <br /> carried, the monthly demands as audited by the Finance <br /> Committee were approved and Clerk authorized to draw <br /> warrants covering demands numbering 2066 to 3317 <br /> inclusive. <br /> <br />Frank O. Duncan appeared before the Board protesting <br />against elimination of loading zone located on the west <br />side of Bush St. between 3rd and 4th Sts., stating that <br />this loading zone is necessary to the conduct of his <br />business. <br /> <br />The motion of Trustee Cheney to retain the loading zone <br />on the west side of Bush St. between 3rd and 4th St. wag <br />lost for lack of a second. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Cheney, seconded by Dixon and <br />carried, the matter was referred to a committee to <br />investigate and report back at next meeting. <br /> <br />The Chair appointed Trustees Cheney and Haan as the <br /> <br /> committee. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, the plans and specifications for the improve- <br />ment of Fourth St., from Artesia St. on the west to <br />the Southern Pacific Tracks on the east, were approved. <br />,, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, the City Council adjourned. <br /> <br /> City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
