Robb, Pres. Santa Ana Boar8 <br />of Realtors submitting names of Everett ~Vhite, Geo. <br />Faires and Herb Hearle, to serve as members of the City <br />Planning Commission was read, and on motion of Trustee <br />Dixon, seconded by Cheney and carried, communication was <br />received and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Deckert and <br />carried, communication from Chief of Fire Department <br />advising of various resignations and appointments of <br />firemen, was received ~ud filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Cheney an~ <br />carried, communication from Acting Fire Chief approving <br />the request of Wm. A. Kintz for a thirty day leave of <br />abseuce, beginning August Sth, 1945, account illness, <br />was received.and filed. <br /> <br />On recommendation of the Chief of Police and on motion <br />of T~Ustee Dixon, seconded by Cheney and carried, the <br />appointments of Chas. W. Ryel, W. D. Lutz, Arthur Wilson <br />and Thomas Mc~ullen, as patrolmen, were approved pro- <br />viding the Department does not exceed the number of <br />employees allotted. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, the application of Gaetha Sisson to drive taxi <br />for the Broadway Cab was ~ranted and Clerk authorized <br />to issue license. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Deckert and <br />carried, applications of Powell Neon Sign Co. to hang <br />a neon sign for Wright and Lawrence, 414 W. 4th St., <br />and for Mallott's Style Shop, 1814 No. Main St., were <br />granted and signs ordered hung under supervision of the <br />Electrical Inspector. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney snd <br />carried, bond of Doyle McMillan, as House Mover, written <br />by the Aetna Casualty & Surety Co., and bond of Star <br />House Movers, Inc. written by the Hartford Accident and <br />Indemuity Co., in the amount of ~l,O00.O0, respectively, <br />were approved. <br /> <br /> <br />
