Roy Geach <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Agreement <br /> <br />E.C.Rogers & wife, <br /> <br />Tract No. 1095 <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Reject bids <br /> <br />Traffic Signals <br /> <br />Communication from County Tax Collector stating that <br /> <br />L.~t 9, Block 8, Pacific Electric Sub, located in the <br />City of Santa &na would be sold at public auction, was <br />read. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, the Clerk was instructed to advise the County <br />Tax Collector that the City Council consents to the sale <br />at public auction of this lot. <br /> <br />Communication from W. Roy Heath, Bexley Heath, Kent, <br />England, expressing thanks, on behalf of the citizens <br />of London, for the gifts of seeds distributed to <br />cultivators of gardens and plots, forwarded to the <br />citizens of London through the British War Relief <br />Society of the United States of America, was read. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and <br />carried, Clerk was instructed to acknowledge receipt <br />of letter. <br /> <br />Letter agreement signed by E.C.Rogers and ~Tuana Rogers, <br />stating that theywould install sewer and laterals to curk <br />gas stub service, 6 inch water main on Westwood and 4 <br />inch main on 15th St., sidewalk and curb and asphaltic <br />concrete pavement 4 inches thick, on Westwood Ave. and <br />15th St., as shown on subdivision map No. 1095, was <br />read. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, the Council approved the map of Tract No. 1095, <br />as approved by the Planning Commission, and Clerk was <br />authorized to certify to the approval of the map, as <br />submitted by Mr. Rogers. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, the letter agreement of Mr. Rogers was accepted <br />and check~ in the a~ount of I~l,O00.00, was ordered <br />deposited until such time as the improvements are <br />completed, provided such improvements are approved by <br />the Engineer. <br /> <br />On recommendation of the Committee and on motion of <br />Trustee Cheney, seconded by Deckert and carried, all bi6 <br />for the installation of three sets of traffic signals tc <br />be located at 4th and Broadway, 4th and Sycamore and 4tk <br />and Bush Sts., were rejected and General Electric <br /> <br /> traffic signals and timers for the three intersections <br /> by the Auditor <br /> ordered purchased,/from the Econolite corp.~ at a price <br /> <br /> of $1,879.76; said signals to be identical with those <br /> now in operation at 4th and Main Streets. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and <br /> <br />carried, the Clerk was instructed to return bonds and ~ <br /> <br /> <br />
