Stop intersection Santa Aha Blvd, E1 Portal & Main St. On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and carried, the City Attorney was ~nstructed to amend the Taxicab Ordinance to provide that bus drivers should be 18 years Of age or over and age of taxi drivers should be 21 years or over. On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Cheney and carried, the application of A.C.Arnesen to conduct a limousine service at 219 Bush St., w~s referred to the Taxicab Conmmission for further investigation with power to act. On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and carried, the report of Orange County Trsffic Committee, together with certified copy of MinuteOrder passed by the Board of Supervisors Jan. 2nd, 1948, relative to proposed truck route thru Santa Ana on lVth St., was received and filed. On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and carried, the report of the Police Department for the month of December, 1944 and annual report for year end- ing December 31st, 1944, were received and filed. . On motion of Trustee Cheney, seconded by Deckert and carried, the request of Otto R. Haan for leave of absence from the State from January ~4th, 1945 to February 28th, 1943, was granted. On motion of Trustee Cheney, seconded by Haan and carried, the following Resolution entitled: "Resolution Concerning Parking Limitations Under Ordinance No. 1030" establishing a lo~ding zone on the north side of W. 5th St., bet~oen Baker and Bristol Sts., located as ~ollows: the East 27 feet of the west 26~ feet, was read, con- sidered, designated Resolution No. ~ and passed by the following vote: Ayes, Trustees Dale G. Deckert, W. Eugene Dixon, Otto R. Haan, W.J.Cheney, Asa Hoffman. Noes, Trustees None Absent,Trustees None On motion of Trustee Deckert, soconded by Ch~ney and carried, the following Besolution entitled: "Resolution Declaring Stop Intersection" declaring the intersection of Santa Aha Boulevard, E1 Portal Street and ~ain Street, a stop intersection, was read, consid6red, designated Resolution No. $$7V
