Meeting called to order by Mayor Hoffman. Pre sent: Trustees Dale G. Deckert, W4 Eugene Dixon, Otto R. Haan, Asa Hoffman Absent: Trustees W.J.Cheney The Clerk connnenced the reading of the Minutes and each member of the City Council having received copies of the Minutes of October 1st, 1945, further reading of the Minutes was dispensed with and approved on motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Deckert and carried. In Re Communication Orange Co. League of Cities In Re Communication Richard Jackson In Re Communication Mrs. D.M.Bostwick In Re Communication Disabled American Veterans V:30 P.~o On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Dixon and carried communication from Orange County League of Cities advising of Joint meeting of the Orange County Board of Supervisors and Orange County League of Cities to be held at the "Women's Club" in Orange, Thursday, Oct. 25th, 1948, at 6:48 P.M., was received and filed. On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Haan and carried, communication from Richard Jackson advising that he would be able to furnish various types of honor rolls, was received and filed. On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Haan and carried, communication from Mrs. Dorothy M. Bostwick acknowledging receipt of letter of condolence written by the Mayor, on behalf of City officials, was ~eceived and filed. On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Deckert and carried, communication from Disabled American Veterans expressing their thanks for the support and contribution given for the rehabilitation of returning veterans and physical handicapped, was received and filed.
