In Re <br /> <br />House Moverts Bond <br /> <br />Joe Shoen <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Monthly <br /> <br />Reports <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Monthly <br /> <br />Demand s <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Appointment <br /> <br />G.S.Howarth~ <br /> <br />Police Dept. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Communication <br /> <br />City Engineer <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Beyerage <br /> <br />Applications <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Taxicab <br /> <br />Applications <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, petition~was referred to Engineer and Street <br />Commissioner for.~inveStigation and to report back at <br />the next meeting. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and <br />carried, bond of Joe Shoen, housemover, written by The <br />Ohio Casualty Insurance Co. of Hamilton, Ohio, in the <br />amount of $1,000.00 ~was appx~ved, received and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Cheney, seconded by Deckert and <br />carried, report of Building Dept. for month of Jan. <br />1946 and Judge's report for Jan. 1946, were received <br />and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, the monthly demands as audited by the Finance <br />Committee were approved and Clerk authorized to draw <br />warrants covering demands numbering 1591 t~ 1837 <br />inclusive. <br /> <br />On recommendation of the Chief of Police and on motion <br />of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Cheney and carried, the <br />appointment of Gilbert Scott Howarth, as an emergency <br /> <br />patrolman, effective Jan. 28th, 1946, was approved, <br />~oviding that the number of employees does not exceed <br /> e quota allowed. <br /> <br />Copy of communication of City Engineer to Secy. Board <br />of Education relative to condition of sidewalks in front <br />of schools was re~d and on motion of Trustee Deckert, <br />seconded by Cheney and carried, communication was <br />approved and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, notifications of the State Board of Equalizati¢ <br />of alcoholic beverage applications made by Victor J. <br />Borchard, 631 S. Main to be transferred from Archie M., <br />John M. & Marion C. Henry, and Eugene & Frederick E. <br />Kahen, 1232 S. Main St. to be transferred from Louise <br />Kahen, were received and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Deckert and <br />carried, applications of Norman E. Hooper and Lloyd L. <br />Howard to drive taxis for the Broadway Cab Co., and <br />Savoy D. LaPlante to drive taxis for the Black & Green <br />Cab Co., were granted and Clerk authorized to issue <br />licenses. <br /> <br /> <br />
