No. 3494 Eliminate loading zone W. 1st St. btn Sycamore & Main St. On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Haan and carried, communication from County Clerk, together with Resolution adopted by the Board of Supervisors stating that Santa Ana City Charter Proposition, Establishing Santa Ana Recre~tion Commission Proposition, Initiative and Santa Ana Employee Retirement Proposition will be consolidated with the General State and County Elections to be held November 5th, 1946, were received and filed. On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Deckert and carried, the Mayor and Clerk were authorized to execute period ending Aug.1, 1946, release of Lease No. ~ 04-193-eng-6294/between the City of Santa Aha and Army Service Forces, Corps of Engineers, South Pacific Division on Room 302 City Hall Building, used as Recruiting office. On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and carried, suit of Bank of America and suit of Security First National Bank against the City and other political agencies to recover taxes paid under protest were referred to the City Attorney for defense. On motion of Trustee Cheney, seconded by Dixon and carried, the following Resolution entitled: "Resolution Establishing Time Limit Parking Zone Under Section 9 of Ordinance No. 1050" establishing a twenty minute parking zone on the east side of Broadway between Church and 10th Sts. located as follows: The North 16.8 feet of the South 177.8 feet, was introduced, read, considered, designated Resolution No. 349~ and passed by the following vote: Ayes, Trustees Otto R. Haan, W. Dale G. Deckert, Asa Hoffman. Noes, Trustees None Absent,Trustees None Eugene Dixon, W.J.Cheney, On motion of Trustee Cheney, seconded by Dixon and carried, the following Resolution entitled: "Resolution Concerning Parking Limitations Under Ordinance No. 1030" eliminating a loading zone on W. 1st St. on the south side, between Sycamore and Main Streets, located as follows: The Easterly 40 feet of the Westerly 50 feet; the Easterly 13 feet of the ~esterly 63 feet, was intro- duced,, read, considered, designated Resolution No. 3494 and passed by the following vote: Otto R.
