No. 3494 <br /> <br />Eliminate loading zone <br /> <br />W. 1st St. btn Sycamore & <br /> <br />Main St. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Haan and <br />carried, communication from County Clerk, together with <br />Resolution adopted by the Board of Supervisors stating <br />that Santa Ana City Charter Proposition, Establishing <br />Santa Ana Recre~tion Commission Proposition, Initiative <br />and Santa Ana Employee Retirement Proposition will be <br />consolidated with the General State and County Elections <br />to be held November 5th, 1946, were received and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Deckert and <br /> <br />carried, the Mayor and Clerk were authorized to execute <br />period ending Aug.1, 1946, <br />release of Lease No. ~ 04-193-eng-6294/between the City <br /> <br />of Santa Aha and Army Service Forces, Corps of Engineers, <br />South Pacific Division on Room 302 City Hall Building, <br />used as Recruiting office. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, suit of Bank of America and suit of Security <br />First National Bank against the City and other political <br />agencies to recover taxes paid under protest were referred <br />to the City Attorney for defense. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Cheney, seconded by Dixon and <br />carried, the following Resolution entitled: <br /> <br /> "Resolution Establishing Time Limit Parking <br /> Zone Under Section 9 of Ordinance No. 1050" <br /> <br />establishing a twenty minute parking zone on the east <br />side of Broadway between Church and 10th Sts. located as <br />follows: The North 16.8 feet of the South 177.8 feet, <br />was introduced, read, considered, designated Resolution <br />No. 349~ and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes, Trustees <br /> <br />Otto R. Haan, W. <br />Dale G. Deckert, <br />Asa Hoffman. <br /> <br />Noes, Trustees None <br />Absent,Trustees None <br /> <br />Eugene Dixon, <br />W.J.Cheney, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Cheney, seconded by Dixon and <br />carried, the following Resolution entitled: <br /> <br /> "Resolution Concerning Parking Limitations <br /> Under Ordinance No. 1030" <br /> <br />eliminating a loading zone on W. 1st St. on the south <br />side, between Sycamore and Main Streets, located as <br />follows: The Easterly 40 feet of the Westerly 50 feet; <br />the Easterly 13 feet of the ~esterly 63 feet, was intro- <br />duced,, read, considered, designated Resolution No. 3494 <br />and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br />Otto R.
