260 In Re Communication Harold R. Emglish & Wife In Re New curb and paving S.E. cot. Maple & 1st. L.L.Barnett In Re Minutes of Joint 0utfall Sewer Meeting In Re On recommendation of the committee and on motion of Trustee Cheney, seconded by Haan and carried, communication from Harold R. English and Velma L. English requesting revocation of Lots D.E.F.&.G. which were dedicated for street purposes was referred to the Planning Commission. On motion of Trustee Chancy, seconded by Haan and carried, Engineer was instructed to make a survey for new curb line and break curb and paving at southeast corner of ~hple and 1st Sts. and L.L.Barnett, owner of the property to construct new curb and sidewalk at his expense; Clerk to notify Mr. Barnett of Council's action. On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Cheney and carried, the minutes of the meeting of the Executive Board of the Joint 0utfall Sewer held at Anaheim, August 1st, 1946, were approved, received and filed. On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Haan and Pet it ion & Communicat ion Dept. of Veterans Affairs In Re Request Chief of Police In Re Resol. No. 3497 Stop In%ersection Orange Ave. & St.Andrews Pl. In Re 'St u~y of Parking 0rdlnances. carried, the recommendation of the City Attorneywas accepted and communication from Dept. of Veterans Affairs, together with petition for cancellation of certain taxes now appearing on tax records as a lien against property owned by the Dept. of Veterans Affairs in Santa Ana, was referred back to the Dept. of Veterans Affairs with the suggestion that petition be filed with the Board of Supervisors of Orange County. On recommendation of the Police Commissioner and on motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Haan and carried, request of Chief of Police for additional personnel, expanded office space, additional equipment, etc., was received and filed. On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Haan and carried, the following Resolution entitled: "Resolution Declaring Stop Intersection" at the intersection of Orange Avenue and St. Andrews Place, was introduced, read, considered, designated Resolution No. $49? and passed by the following voter Ayes, Trustees Otto R. Haan, W. Eugene Dixon, Noes, Trustees Absent ,Trustees Dale G. Deckert, Asa Hoffman None None W. J. Cheney, On notion of Trustee Cheney, seconded by Haan and car- ried, study of the parking Ordinances was referred to the City Attorney and Engineer to present Ordinance relative to one h~ur parking limits.
