English requesting <br />revocation of Lots D.E.F.&.G. which were dedicated for <br />street purposes was referred to the Planning Commission. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Chancy, seconded by Haan and <br />carried, Engineer was instructed to make a survey for <br />new curb line and break curb and paving at southeast <br />corner of ~hple and 1st Sts. and L.L.Barnett, owner of <br />the property to construct new curb and sidewalk at his <br />expense; Clerk to notify Mr. Barnett of Council's <br />action. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Cheney and <br /> <br />carried, the minutes of the meeting of the Executive <br />Board of the Joint 0utfall Sewer held at Anaheim, August <br /> <br />1st, 1946, were approved, received and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Haan and <br /> <br />Pet it ion & Communicat ion <br /> <br />Dept. of Veterans Affairs <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Request <br /> <br />Chief of Police <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Resol. No. 3497 <br /> <br />Stop In%ersection <br /> <br />Orange Ave. & St.Andrews Pl. <br /> <br /> In Re <br /> <br />'St u~y of <br /> <br /> Parking 0rdlnances. <br /> <br />carried, the recommendation of the City Attorneywas <br />accepted and communication from Dept. of Veterans Affairs, <br />together with petition for cancellation of certain taxes <br />now appearing on tax records as a lien against property <br />owned by the Dept. of Veterans Affairs in Santa Ana, was <br />referred back to the Dept. of Veterans Affairs with the <br />suggestion that petition be filed with the Board of <br />Supervisors of Orange County. <br /> <br />On recommendation of the Police Commissioner and on <br />motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Haan and carried, <br />request of Chief of Police for additional personnel, <br />expanded office space, additional equipment, etc., was <br />received and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Haan and <br />carried, the following Resolution entitled: <br /> <br /> "Resolution Declaring Stop Intersection" <br /> <br />at the intersection of Orange Avenue and St. Andrews <br />Place, was introduced, read, considered, designated <br />Resolution No. $49? and passed by the following voter <br /> <br /> Ayes, Trustees Otto R.
