M. Crookshank for a leave of absence <br />from the State for the week commencing October P~lst, 1946, <br />was granted. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and carried <br />the application of Chas. F. Ansley, 6741~ No. Spring St., <br />Los Angeles, for permit to solicit funds for general <br />missionary and evangelistic work, was denied. <br /> <br />On motion of T~ustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and carried <br />applications of Jack H. Strank, Roy L. Whitten, Burton W. <br />Branch, Jr., Joseph C. Harris, Clyde McCleary, Francis N. <br />Eshom, and James E. Forshay, to drive taxicabs, and of <br /> <br />L. D. NcDonald to drive a bus, were granted and Olerk <br />authorized to issue licenses. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Chancy and carried <br />the application of James A. Perry and C~ W. Williams, for a <br />permit and license to operate the Broadway Cab Company at <br />~05 No. Broadway, enclosing check for $150.00 covering <br />license fee for twelve taxicabs, and endorsement #18 for <br />reassignment of insurance policy covering new owners, was <br />referred to the Taxicab Commission. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and carried <br />the application of Robert G. Sturges, DBA Bainbow Cab Com- <br />pany, for permission to place four additional taxicabs in <br />service was referred to the Taxicab Commission to report bac <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and carried <br />the application of the Black & Green Cab Company for permiss <br />to operate three additional taxicabs, was referred to the <br />Taxicab Commission to report back. <br /> <br />~n <br /> <br /> <br />
