Haan, W. <br />Dale G. Deckert, <br />Asa Hoffman <br /> <br />Eugene Dixon, <br />W.J.Cheney, <br /> <br />Absent: Trustees None <br /> <br />The Clerk commenced the reading of the Minutes and each <br />member of the City Council having received copies of the <br />Minutes of October 21st, 1946, further reading of the <br />Minutes was dispensed with and approved on motion of <br />Trustee Cheney, seconded by Dixon and carried. <br /> <br />Council Chamber <br /> <br />Santa Aha City Hall <br /> <br />November 4th, 1946. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Cormmunication <br /> <br />Youth Authority <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Com~unication <br /> <br />American Legion <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Comunication <br /> <br />City Engineer <br /> <br />St.lights S.E. Santa Ana <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Comunication <br /> <br />Diehl & Co. <br /> <br />7:30 PM <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, communication from Karl Holton, Director, Youth <br />Authority infox~ming the City Council that the State would <br />begin their survey on Youth Authority January 1st, 194V, <br />was received and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Dixon and carried, <br />communication from American Legion wherein they endorse the <br />Federal Airport Program and requesting that local governmental <br />agencies proceed without delay in the necessary planning <br />of airport development, was received and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Dixon and carried, <br />communication from City Engineer stating that Edison Co. <br />advises they will be unable to install twenty-five overhead <br />lights in the recently annexed territory in southeast Santa <br />Ana due to inability to secure materials and that it will <br />probably be one and one-half years before lights can be <br />installed, was received and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Haan and carried, <br />communication from Diehl & Co. stating that quarterly <br />examination of books and accounts of the City of Santa Ana <br />for the period ending Sept. 30, 1948, has been made, was <br />received and filed. <br /> <br /> <br />
