Harwood, Postmaster for <br /> par~klng <br />certain/changes at the Post Office on Bush Street was <br /> <br />referred to Street SUperintendent and Street <br />Conm~Issioner for checking and to report back at the <br />next meeting. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Deckert and <br />carried, communication from Nannie E. Lester reference <br />to rezoning of North Sycamore Street from 10th to <br />Washington Avenue was referred to Planning Consultant <br />with instructions that he interview Mrs. Lester and <br />report back at next meeting. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Deckert and <br />carried, request of Pastor, Our Lady of Guadalupe <br />Church for permission to stage a parade on December 8t~ <br />1946, was granted and Police Department to be notified <br />of route of parade and date. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Haan and <br />carried, copy of conm~unication from Fire Chief, address <br />to Civil Service Board stating that following employees <br />have completed another six weeks of their probationary <br />period; George Berry, Homer Henderson, J.S.Spaulding, <br />Iven L. Moyer, Robert Motley, Tham Meyer, Gilbert <br />Chittock, Norman Garrett, Byron Quivey, Kenneth W. <br />Fowler and that following group were placed on <br />probation: Daniel G. Harris, 6-15-46, Wilford S.0sborn <br />6-15-46, Cletus M. Wagner, 7-1-46, Robert J. Dunn, <br />7-3-46 and Donald E. Wright, 8-1-46, was received and <br />filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, request of Manuel Esqueda for permission to <br />conduct public dances at V.F.W. Hall, 5th and Broadway~ <br />each Saturday night, was referred to Trustee Dixon <br />with power to act. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and <br />carried, application of Pastor of the Pentecostal <br />Church of God of America to solicit funds to rebuild <br />their church which was destroyed by fire, was granted. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Dixon and <br />carried, request of Director, Santa Aha Junior College <br />that a loading zone be reserved on Main Street from th~ <br />south property line to the north side of the first <br />walk leading into College Hall, a distance of <br /> <br /> <br />
