Credit Corporation <br /> requesting permanent extension of thirty days for the <br /> filing of City sales tax returns was read and on motion <br /> of Trustee Haan, seconded by Deckert and carried, <br /> <br /> request was granted, and Clerk to so notify them of Council <br /> action. <br /> ,, <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Haan and <br /> carried applicatiJ~ns of Harold H. Maxwell, William T. <br /> Ranker, Benjamin Paul Capps, Chester Warfleld and <br /> Mack G. Cain, to drive taxicabs were granted and Clerk <br /> authorized to issue licenses. <br /> <br /> Communication from Veterans of Foreign Wars extending <br /> invitation to enter a float to represent the City of <br /> Santa Ana on Armistice Day was read and on motion of <br /> Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and carried, Chairman <br /> of the Board was authorized to select type of float, <br /> with power to act. <br /> <br /> ,, <br /> <br /> No protests having been received, and on motion of <br /> Trustee Haan, seconded by Dixon and carried, application <br /> of Caldwell-Haber Co. to conduct the business of dealing <br /> in motor vehicles at 614 No. Main St., was granted and <br /> Clerk authorized to issue license and deposit application <br /> fee in the amount of $200.00. <br /> <br /> On recommendation of the Taxicab Commission and on <br /> motion of Haan, seconded by Cheney and carried, <br /> application of C.H.Eckles for change in routes, change <br /> in fares and for additional busses was granted~providlng <br /> and subject to the northwest route traveling to Towner <br /> and north on Towner rather than on Freeman and that <br /> proof of insurance coverage for added busses and <br /> <br /> <br />
