Lawrence, <br /> <br />etux. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Haan and <br />carried, Resolution establishing a twenty-minute parkinE <br />zone on the west side of North Naln Street between <br /> <br />20th and Buffalo Avenue, located as follows: The North <br />56 feet of the South 353 feet, in accordance with reques <br />of R. W. Mawson, was held up for further study. <br /> <br />On recommendation of the co~m~ittee and on motion of <br />Trustee Deckert, seconded by Haan and carried, the <br />request of the First Church of Christ, 920 No. Main St. <br />for "no parking" signs on the south side of Tenth betwe <br />Natn and Sycamore was granted and Clerk instructed to <br />notify them of Council,s action. <br /> <br />Communication from Frank Harwood with reference to <br />loading zone at sub-station, 310 No. Broadway, was <br />received and filed and on motion of Trustee Dixon, <br /> WS~ <br />seconded by Haan and carried, Clerk/instructed to write <br /> <br />letter to Postmaster stating that Police Department will <br />patrol alley now b~ng used by sub-station for loading <br />and unloading. <br /> <br />The Chairman of the Board submitted a proposal for <br /> <br />purchase of an irregular shaped parcel of land on the <br /> from Chas. E. L~wrence. <br />southeast corner of Broadway and Anahux~a~'St./for th~ <br /> <br />sum of $1500.00 for the construction of a fire station. <br />On motion of Trustee Decke~, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, the Chairman of the Board was authorized to <br />negotiate for the purchase of this lot for $1500.00 and <br />sign necessary escrow agreement. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and <br />carried, the City Council ~Journed. <br /> <br /> <br />
