Deckert, Otto R. Haan, <br />W.J.Cheney, Asa Ho,,man. <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />W' Eugene Dixon <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Deckert and <br />carried, application of Chas. R. Carothers to conduct <br />the business of dealing in motor vehicles at 310 East <br />Fifth Street, was granted and Clerk authorized to <br />issue license. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Deckert and <br />carried, application of George B. Thatcher and Don L. <br />Hollingsworth to conduct the business of dealing in <br />motor vehicles at the Southeast corner of 17th and <br />Patton Streets, was granted and Clerk authorized to <br />issue license. <br /> <br />A petition signed by nine property owners residing in <br />the vicinity of Washington and Westwood Avenues, request <br />lng that a street light be installed at the intersectioz <br />of ~ashington and Westwood Avenues was read and on <br />motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Haan and carried <br />matter was referred to the Street Superintendent and <br />Street Commissioner to report back at the next meeting. <br /> <br />Comzaunication from City Attorney reconmnending that the <br />law firm of 0'Melveny and Myers be employed to conduct <br />~ll proceedings on the special bond election which is tc <br />be submitted to the electors of the City of Santa Aha on <br /> <br />April 9th, 1946 was read and on motion of Trustee <br /> and carried <br />Deckert, seconded by Cheney,/comm~mication was received <br /> <br />and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, the law firm of 0'Melveny and Myers was employe <br />to conduct all necessary proceedings in connection with <br /> <br /> <br />
